Sheep stew (for 4 ppl)


1.5 kg sheep meat with bone

15 dkg smoked bacon 

2 onions

1 green paprika

1 tomato

2 cloves garlic

2 tbsp fat

2 tbsp sweet paprika powder

salt, pepper to taste

Let the fat melt from the bacon and add the diced onion, stir until golden, remove the bacon cubes before. Add the red paprika cubes, the tomato and simmer for a few minutes. Remove from heat, add the paprika powder and fill up with some water. Put back on heat, toast it. Add the chopped meat into the mixture.  Season with salt, pepper and the minced garlic. Simmer under lid, by adding a little water to it time by time, until it is ready.
