Hortobagyian minced meat pancake (for 6 ppl)


For the filling:

0.5 kg minced grey cattle meat

1 tomato, diced

1 pepper, diced

1 middle sized onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

175 g sour cream

salt, pepper to taste

sweet paprika powder to taste

3 tbsp oil

0.5 tbsp flour

For the pancake:

50 dkg flour

2 eggs

4 dl milk

1 dl sparkling water

1teaspoon salt

Heat oil in a pan, add the onion, simmer, then add the garlic, tomato and pepper. When the tomato gets saucy, add the minced meat. Cook until it is soft. Start making the pancakes: stir the ingredients until combined. Bake thicker pancakes than usually. When the meat is ready, season with salt, pepper and paprika powder. Strain it and keep the liquid aside, thicken it with the mix of sour cream and flour. Also add some sour cream in the meat, to make it more creamy.

Fill the pancakes with the meat and put sauce on the top. Serve hot.
