Grey cattle goulash (for 8 ppl)


60 dkg shin of veal

5 dkg mangalica pig fat

20 dkg onion

4 cloves garlic

sweet paprika powder

30 dkg potato

15 dkg carrot

15 dkg parsley

15 dkg celery

10 dkg tomato

10 dkg paprika

1 tsp ground cumin

1tsp salt

Put the diced onion and crushed garlic on hot fat, toast, then add the diced paprika and tomato, cook it on low heat. Remove the pot from heat, add the paprika powder and the ground cumin.

Add the chopped meat, cook, after about 15 minutes fill up with water and add some salt to taste. Cook it for 1 hour on low heat. Add the chopped celery, parsley and carrot. Cook for 15 minutes more. Add the diced potato and cook it for another 15 minutes. Serve it hot.
