Accessible Hortobágy

In recent years the touristic companies of Hortobágy had ambition to make Hortobágy accessible. 

One of the most important thing was that the Horse carriage tour in the Máta Stud is accessibe from 2020. In the area of the Máta Stud the stables, the Cafe Nyerges, the visitor centre also can be visitied for diasabled people. 

The HNP Visitor Centre and the exhibitions are accessible too. In the building there are 3 exhibitions: World of the Cranes, Treasure of the Puszta, the Nature of the puszta. There is a cafe, a souvenirshop and an information office. Open from the second part of 2023.

The Hortobágy Wild Animal park can be visited with the bus of the national park which is available for disabled people, too. In the zoo there are mainly asphalted path. 

The Bird Hospital and the village centre is also accessible.
